‘The Conference Centre's facilities are ideal for the current situation’
After the success of our first events, we continue to resume our activities with all the necessary health and safety measures
“The Conference Centre's facilities are ideal for the current situation. The delegates have been able to attend with safe conditions in the rooms and during the breaks, and we have therefore been able to meet our expectations for the event.”
These words belong to Manuel García Abad, the Chairman of the Iberian Live-Med Institute Foundation, in conjunction with Live-Med Iberia, and the organiser of the "Refresher Training in Primary Care for Family and Community Medicine Programme”, who has given us his testimony after this training event, in which the strict safety protocol was successfully implemented in all areas, considering the fact as well that the “students are healthcare professionals, and primary care doctors, and we needed to ensure maximum safety measures for them.”
After the success of the first events held in our facilities, thanks to the implementation of the health and safety measures, we have resumed our activities and we are currently working hand in hand with our customers to stage the next events. The capacity of the auditoriums and the commitment of the team to creating a safe environment have played a key role for the organisers who have found that the capacity requirements and social distancing indicated by the health authorities can be complied with at this venue. In addition, we are continuing to develop a range of innovative projects, such as the SDG working group that promotes sustainability when holding events and new solutions adapted to customers’ new needs, based on powerful technology, for virtual or hybrid events.
During the summer, the team has brought in six new congresses and conventions, 33 new dossiers have been opened, and seven new event bids have been presented. Furthermore, circumstances permitting, the Conference Centre's agenda has 15 events confirmed in the remaining months of 2020.
