Magda Cervera, a much-deserving person of the month
“I’d like my event to be held at the Valencia Conference Centre”. Where do I start? We’ll tell you everything about it in this post.
Magda Cervera is a colleague from the marketing department who is in charge of managing the reserves for conferences and other events to be held in the premises. This means that she is the contact person for all customers. Subsequently, once an event has agreed to be scheduled, she passes on the event organization tasks to the Operations Area, who is in charge of ensuring that events are seamlessly and perfectly organised from beginning to end.
From last January to January 2022, about one hundred events were scheduled. Yes, one hundred! An impressive number for a year which, despite having its ups and downs due to sanitary restrictions associated to the pandemic, has closed with very positive figures.
Can you think of any reason for that? You will be probably thinking: “Of course I do: Magda!” Magda is a very special colleague for the entire team of the Valencia Conference Centre due to her captivating personality, her strive towards perfection and her long experience in reserve management. Magda has been working in the Valencia Conference Centre from its very opening in July 1998.
Among the type of events she routinely works on, seminars and , especially, stage shows, are especially noteworthy. Magda knows her job through and through and is perfectly aware of why the Valencia Conference Centre is a reference with this regard. The auditorium with a stage close to the public which allows artists to interact with their public, with a state-of-the art sound and lighting technologies and a large access area, with different discharge docks, ramps and platforms adapted to all kinds of vehicles and including a direct access to the stage, in order to enable smooth and easy staging are the main factors which make event organisers decide to make a stop at our premises.
