The world´s leading pediatric diabetes congress is held in Spain for the first time

From 26th to 29th October, the Valencia Conference Centre will be hosting the 42nd Annual Conference of the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD), the world’s leading international event in this specialist subject, which will bring an economic impact of over €2.2 million to the city of Valencia.

The Valencia Conference Centre celebrates its coming of age with an economic impact of a billion euros

On 2nd July, Norman Foster's emblematic building will be celebrating its 18th birthday. Since its opening, the Centre has boosted event tourism in the city, attracting and hosting over 2,500 events and welcoming more than 1.75 million visitors. As a result, the Centre has generated 1.9 million overnight stays and an economic impact for the city of €1 billion, a figure which is more than 33 times the cost of its construction.

Over 600 specialists set to meet at the Valencia Conference Centre to discuss paediatric emergencies

From 14th-16th April, the Valencia Conference Centre will be playing host to the 21st Annual Meeting of the Spanish Paediatric Emergency Society. The event will be attended by over 600 professionals including specialists working in primary health and outpatient care, medical emergency services, paediatric intensive care, and nursing, as well as resident doctors.

2015 was an exceptional year for the Valencia Conference Centre given the importance and size of the events it hosted. The venue organised a total of 102 events in which 84,824 visitors took part.

The Valencia Conference Centre to host 13 congresses in the last four months of 2015

Twenty events have already been confirmed for the last four months of the year at the Valencia Conference Centre, which will be attended by 35,850 visitors. Fourteen of these events are congresses and conventions in which 16,150 delegates will be taking part. The venue was designed specifically to host this type of events.
